Mariam is a seventeen-year-old student of Baku, Azerbaijan. 

 

She has a big interest in the Sustainable Development Plan 

(SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call for action to end poverty and protect the planet by 2030.

 

During her leisure time, she loves reading fictional books and books on psychoanalysis.

 

She is applying to universities abroad to become a specialist in one of the STEM fields, specifically biology or chemistry, while encouraging other passionate young ladies to pursue their careers in traditionally male-dominated fields.
